Position Vacant - B2B Sales Representative
In this sales representative position, you will be responsible for the sale of a portfolio of Sealand's goods, while working mostly in an outdoor sales environment on the island of Malta.
You will be responsible for:
- Visiting clients and understanding their requirements whilst promoting the
company's goods
- Highlighting and recommending goods and promotions which best meet
client's needs
- Generating leads and approaching potential clients
- Maintaining and developing relationships with clients, by conducting
meetings in person and regular follow-ups via phone and email
- Attracting new customers and promoting the company's goods
- Negotiating sale proposals, terms of agreement and closing sales
- Liaising with the Finance Team for payment terms approvals and pending
actions
- Understanding customer's needs and up-selling goods
- Liaising with Management on a regular basis to follow up on relevant
market trends
- Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction throughout
- Package - basic salary + commission, mobile, laptop and fuel allowance
(Car provided after probation).
The vacancy requires:
- Education and Experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a sales environment, or in a
position close to our sector of activity, coupled with a proven sales track
record
- A hands-on approach to work, strong business acumen as well as a
demonstrated passion for sales
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in both English and Maltese or
Italian
- Strong client management skills
- A clean and valid driving license
- Previous experience in the fishing or food service industry will be
considered an asset
